RECAP is a Community based furniture recycling project, which started operation in May 2003.  RECAP collects household furniture throughout North Lanarkshire North, refurbishes and then redistributes these goods at affordable prices to individuals and families.  In addition to furniture, we also run a white goods refurbishment service.

The objectives of RECAP are the relief of poverty of the inhabitants of North Lanarkshire by collecting donated furniture and redistributing to those in need. 

RECAP’s aims are Environmental, Social and Economic with regards to recycling for the local community.

RECAP gained Charitable status in June 2003 and is a Co Limited by Guarantee.
